The beautiful city of Wells in named after three springs, or wells, which rise within the city. The iconic cathedral has brought people together for over 800 years and its famous clock is the oldest surviving original in the world!

Sitting at the end of the Polden Hills, with views of Glastonbury Tor and the Mendip Hills. Street is a perfectly situated to explore the surrounding countryside, whilst enjoying all of the sites and facilities that the village has to offer. Street is the birthplace of Clarks shoes, whose story began almost 200 years ago, when brothers, Cyrus and James Clark, started making slippers from sheepskin offcuts.
