On completion of pick ups we will travel to London stopping off at McArthur Glen, designer shopping outlet and steam-museum of the Great Western Railway Swindon with its huge range of shops and cafes. The adjacent ‘Museum of Steam’ has an extensive collection of locomotives, carriages and railway memorabilia that highlights the rich history of the Great Western Railway (entry fee). Depart for Knightsbridge, London and visit Harrods, The Natural History Museum and the V&A (entry free).
19:00pm Coach departs for the superb 4* Leonardo Hotel, Heathrow.
Thursday 22nd August.
08:00-09:30am Full English breakfast (other options available).
10:00am Depart for London’s Covent Garden area. Free time to explore the former flower market with its craft stalls and other shopping outlets and listen to the talented buskers perform.
14:00pm Arrive at the Aldwych Theatre for the 14:30pm matinee performance of Tina, the hit musical about the life and times of Tina Turner, featuring her classic songs.
Later there will be plenty of time for a meal in one of the many cafes and restaurants in Covent Garden.
20:00pm Coach departs the drop off point for journey to the hotel (if you wish to remain in the city please inform the driver in the morning. You will need to arrange your own transport back to the hotel).
Friday 23rd August.
08:00am-10:00am Full English breakfast (other options available).
10:15am Transfer luggage to coach.
10:30am Depart for an extended visit to Windsor. On arrival there will be time to explore the shopping area in the former Windsor Railway Station before making your way to the entrance of Windsor Castle for your visit at 12:00. There will be time to browse the shops before re-joining the coach for the journey home.
17:00pm Coach departs Windsor Coach Park for the Journey to South Wales.
